I have managed to join this blog after being invited - Thank you, Mary! But I did not realise that this then obligates me to post something - weekly???? Thought I had outgrown homework assignments...oh well, here goes....
When ring clerking, please try and deliver the class results sheets from your ring to the master clerk in a timely manner. What then is timely? Perhaps others can contribute their thoughts but I like to see them delivered in bundles of 3-4 pages or less.
If you wish to bring them up a page at a time - great! This becomes extremely important at the end of the show to enable the master clerk to check out judges in a timely manner. Until you have master clerked you have no idea how getting a huge pile of class results sheets at the end of the show has a HUGE knock on effect.
